ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

Production of the monthly reporting to the local regulator authority (French National Bank, ACPR “Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Resolution”)

Participate to actions plans to solve data quality issues

Answer to ad hoc reporting requested by the regulator

Participate into new projects inquiries (regulatory and other)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Send on time accurate reporting to regulators
  • Showing proactivity on dataquality reviews and action plans
  • Being part of the team responsible of  the local regulatory reporting of BNP Paribas SA and Financial markets
  • Ensuring the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the local regulators (ACPR and Banque de France)

REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions).
  • Support the execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates.
  • Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct industry and company research focused on renewable energy, energy transition, decarbonization technologies, sustainable infrastructure and metals & mining.
  • Assist senior bankers throughout live transactions and business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with product teams (ECM, DCM, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance) and industry coverage teams across BNP Paribas.

EXPERIENCE

At least 4 years of previous work experience in Mergers & Acquisitions in a top tier investment bank, boutique;

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the M&A product including transaction structuring and analysis, valuation, fairness opinions, capital increases, IPOs, etc;
  • Assume responsibility towards client satisfaction and helps develop client relationships at his/her level;
  • Capacity to develop autonomously market awareness and general business culture;
  • Modelling and valuation – knowledge of detailed and complex financial models (including VBA capabilities). Prior experience in Renewables specifically will be a strong plus;
  • Experience in LCTG subsectors beyond renewables (e.g. Metals & Mining, biofuels, nuclear) will be highly appreciated
  • Express his/her messages in an effective, organized way, appropriate to the audience being addressed;
  • IT literacy in Microsoft Office and experience in using investment banking databases (e.g. Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Infralogic, Aurora, Wood Mackenzie) ;

As a Credit Risk Model Validation Specialist you will participate in the Review, Oversight and monitoring of all Credit Risk Models in force within BNP Paribas such as (IFRS9, Scoring Models, IRB, Stress Testing and ICAAP) and you would play a major role in the definition and challenge of BNP’s global modelling convergence across entities by  helping in reaching full compliance with European Banking Regulations such as (CRD, CRR, Basel IV).

Additionally, the role may occasionally require reviewing and assessing other models that may affect any of the credit risk cycle decision making process including ESG related models and would require an ongoing monitoring to ensure that existing models implemented meet Group’s requirements in terms of performance (Review of Estimates and Backtesting)(.

As such, you will join an international team named – RISK Independent Review and Control – with presence in up to 9 countries comprised by a wide range of experienced and skilled professionals in the Credit Risk Domain that would give you the chance to liaise with senior executive members across BNP’s Paribas RISK organization– including Model Development teams, Internal Audit and Risk Officers – across the different entities BNPP has in several locations including BNL – Italy , Fortis – Belgium , BNPP – France , BGL – Luxembourg .

The role would additionally encompass participating in the validation of to the Group’s Global Corporate Models including Asset Finance, Large Corporates, LBO, Financial Institutions)  and would require a frequent interaction with regulatory bodies (ECB , ACPR).

The current position herein offered is based in Madrid where the BNP’s MADRID RISK HUB is based joining a large community of Risk Professionals in the domains of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, Operational Risk Control , Credit Market and Counterparty Risk, Cyber Security and Project Management.

What we are looking for:

Up to three candidates are being sought by the Independent Review and Control, candidates should:

  • Show a strong statistical knowledge in the domains of (statistical inference and probability, clustering, time series forecasting).
  • Show strong critical thinking and passion for learning.
  • Knowledge of the latest regulatory requirements including (NDOD, Basel IV, EBA Guidelines, IFRS9, CRR/CRD, Collateral eligibility, ECB Guide to Internal Models).

  • Garantizar ejecución y control de los modelos analíticos de gastos “cost model” y “prudential closing”. Análisis de desviaciones. Explicación de la evolución.

As part of the Open Cloud Platforms (OCP) division, you will join the CoE Automation unit. Your mission is to address the automation needs of the Production division in a standardized, scalable, and efficient way.

We are looking for a Terraform Enterprise Expert to join our platform team in Madrid. You won’t just maintain the platform; you will act as a mentor, a catalyst for our company-wide Center of Expertise, and a technical leader for OCP Automation, guiding teams toward Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices and accelerating our cloud-native transformation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Platform Governance: Configure Terraform Enterprise settings, including teams, access controls, and policies.
  • Policy as Code: Maintain Organizational Policy as Code (OPA) and enforce policies using Sentinel.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage workspace configurations, execution modes, and ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery for Terraform Enterprise.

  • Mandatory: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with Terraform Enterprise (not just open-source).
  • Mandatory: Deep expertise in IaC principles, Private Module Registries, and state management.
  • Mandatory: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Mandatory: High standard of English (C1 level).
  • Preferred: HashiCorp Certifications (Terraform Associate or Professional).

SOBRE EL PUESTO

MISIÓN

Buscamos personas  versátiles con conocimiento en el sector financiero que quieran desarrollarse  formando parte del equipo de Operaciones, realizando tareas administrativas tanto de Front como de Back.

Front: Ayudarás a  nuestros Clientes o Puntos Nickel  a resolver sus dudas, quejas e incidencias; y contribuirás al crecimiento de nuestra entidad.

Back: Gestión documental, aplicación de controles, relación con las autoridades y administraciones públicas (gestión de requerimientos, embargos, concurso de acreedores), limpieza de bases de datos.

Buscamos personas que disfruten con su trabajo y compañeros, orientadas a resultados que quieran formar parte de un  proyecto retador en un entorno Internacional.

RESPONSABILIDADES

Contacto con interlocutores internos y externos, el objetivo de esta posición es atender a las prioridades del Dpto. en función de las necesidade tales como:

● Responder y tratar las solicitudes de Clientes o Puntos de Venta.

● Campañas telefónicas: contactar con prospectos para captación, o análisis de cartera de las necesidades de prospectos.

● Tareas administrativas de back office.

● Misiones específicas: limpieza de bases de datos, pruebas de desarrollo de herramientas.

Todo ello respetando y cumpliendo los procedimientos y  controles intrínsecos a nuestra actividad.

-Asegurar el tratamiento y resolución de las peticiones o quejas recibidas a través de los distintos canales de comunicación.

– Promover todos nuestros servicios.

– Participar en la consecución de nuestros objetivos de calidad y de productividad.

– Analizar, controlar la conformidad y seguimiento de los expedientes detectando y escalando cualquier irregularidad.

– Realización de gestiones administrativas y de control.

– Detectar y participar proactivamente en la mejora de procesos.

– Participar, a petición del responsable, en proyectos transversales ligados a la actividad.

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-Cycle Internship within our M&A European Advisory Group team based in Madrid. 

 

What you can expect:

The intern, within the M&A European Advisory Team, will support in the following activities:

  • Transaction origination, including market selection, investment opportunity analysis, database management, and support in preparing client presentations. 
  • Company valuation, including assistance in conducting valuation analyses of specific companies using the most common valuation methodologies (DCF, transaction multiples, trading multiples)
  • Transaction execution, including support in preparing transaction documents (teasers, information memorandums) and managing data rooms, as an integral member of the execution team.

 

What we look for in a candidate:

  • Prior relevant experience in M&A as an intern or junior analyst
  •  A degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record and solid knowledge in Corporate Finance and/or financial modelling
  • Advance level in Microsoft Office with strong focus in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Availability to start full-time in January 2026

Languages:

  • English: fluent
  • Knowledge of French is a plus

WHO WE ARE

We are the Trade Finance Service Centre, a large and critical area within Operations. With more than 100 professionals, we cover Traditional Trade products, including bank guarantees and documentary products. We service main European markets such as Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and the UK.

MISSION

As an Implementation Manager, you will drive the digitalization of our Trade Finance customers. You will ensure the successful deployment of eBanking solutions and provide essential level 1 support for our front-end assets within the CIB EMEA scope.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver end-to-end eBanking projects by defining scope and maintaining progress dashboards.
  • Promote eBanking solutions through live demonstrations and onboarding guidance for clients.
  • Master all eBanking functionalities and stakeholder roles to ensure seamless configuration.
  • Manage customer contracts, system registrations, and user account activations.
  • Resolve client queries promptly to maintain service continuity and escalate incidents when necessary.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the banking profession or Trade Finance is highly valued.
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform “cold calls” effectively.
