Functionally to Vincenzo Varsalona – Head of Equity & Derivatives Sales to Institutions – Southern Europe at BNP Paribas CIB

Responsibilities :

Coverage of Institutional clients in Iberia – Asset Managers, DPMs, Insurance Companies, Banks, Family Offices, etc. 

The spectrum of products include the Market Access Flow, the Solutions business (including Quantitative Strategies), the Delta-1 offering, Financing, THEAM funds.

Under the direction and supervision of the Team head, in your role as an Equity Derivatives Salesperson you will primarily be responsible for:

• Developing a diversified base of clients using the Market Access product and Solutions that the Bank can offer.
• Ensure smooth execution of client trades, limiting the operational risks for the Bank.
• Promote “Content” to clients – from desk analyses to trading axes, research and product innovation.
• Leverage internal teams (i.e. Lisbon) to get required support throughout the value chain.
• Cover accounts at senior level beyond mere execution.
• Prospect accounts and developing new relationships to reach a position of trusted advisor for the client.
• Master market data/themes and individual clients’ interests to provide relevant contents.
• Deliver market intelligence, strategist/economist content and trade ideas relevant for the client.
• Lead client events and roadshows to ensure we deliver the right BNPP content to the right
• clients.
• Acts in accordance with Group Compliance guidelines and Group Code of Conduct

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Sybase Database Administrator, you will manage Sybase databases within the global CIB scope. You will ensure the stability, resilience, and performance of DBA services to maintain highly available environments for our applications.

MISIÓN

Contribuir en la mejora continua y aplicación de eficiencias del Departamento, controlando junto con el soporte operativo el buen funcionamiento de las herramientas, asegurando un correcto uso de estas y gestionando cualquier incidente de las mismas.

Participar en proyectos como Business Expert, individual o juntamente con el Project Risk Manager, tanto a nivel de Departamento como Transversales.

Participar en el desarrollo y seguimiento de los modelos de decisión automáticos a nivel local y juntamente con Corporate. Análisis estadístico y seguimiento de modelos.

Gestión de bases de datos y estudios para el área de Riesgos de Crédito.

Cumplimiento normativo y validación.

Participación en la comunidad internacional de Riesgos de Crédito – Retail.

RESPONSABILIDADES

· Liderar proyectos en primera persona o participando como Business Expert junto con el Project Risk Manager.

· Participar en iniciativas transversales de otras áreas de negocio.

· Contribuir en iniciativas de mejora continua del departamento, trabajando conjuntamente y dando soporte a 1LoD (First Line of Defense).

· Crear y perfeccionar scores de concesión (internos, genéricos del grupo BNP Paribas, o externos).

· Implementar y desarrollar sistemas expertos para la toma de decisiones de riesgo retail.

· Realizar estudios estadísticos relacionados con el riesgo de crédito retail.

· Monitorizar el rendimiento de los sistemas de decisión (back-testing).

· Construir bases de datos adaptadas a las necesidades del área de Riesgos.

· Llevar a cabo estudios estadísticos para la gestión y supervisión del riesgo.

· Identificar y definir mejoras en colaboración con otros Business Experts a nivel local y homólogos en otros países.

ABOUT THE JOB

As an Implementation Manager, you will assist clients in the implementation of eBanking Trade Finance solutions and provide level 1 support for front-end assets within the CIB EMEA scope. You will work in a cross-functional environment to support the digitalization of our Trade Finance customers.

The CIB IT Platform for EMEA is Responsible to provide IT Services to our clients ensuring a digital market evolution, in a secure and performant environment, and with a reliable quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The  Domain Net-Sec Risk Security Solutions is part of the ProdSec department and it’s main responsibility is ensure the network security flows.
• Service required is going to provide support to cover the security production daily shifts, oncalls and interventions that must to be covered for EMEA region.

PROFILE & SKILLS

Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of experience in L2 security tasks.
• Communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrate specific knowledge in Fortinet, Checkpoint, and McAfee Proxy.
• Knowledge of AVI – WAF and Illumio is considered very valuable.

Soft Skills:

• Show strong communication and teamwork abilities.

ABOUT THE JOB

 As a global change management team, our mission is to ensure, standardised methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all Changes, in order to minimise the impact of Change related incidents and problems upon IT service delivery and quality. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze all change requests to ensure full compliance with established guidelines.
• Identify risks and impacts to validate classifications and implementation plans.
• Coordinate the resolution of change issues, including scheduling conflicts and compliance.
• Facilitate technical discussions between IT teams regarding incidents and scheduling negotiations.
• Chair weekly Change Control Board meetings and communicate schedules globally.

PROFILE & SKILLS

Requirements:

• Hold an ITIL Foundation qualification (Mandatory).
• Possess 1–3 years of experience in Service Management or IT Production (e.g., Release, Change, or Configuration Management).
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Change/Release Management theory and practice.
• Show a good understanding of Configuration Management theory.
• Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written (B2/C) (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is valued.

Skills:

• Apply knowledge of the ITIL framework and change stages.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
• Evaluate the impact, urgency, and risk levels of proposed changes.
• Map technical dependencies across infrastructure components.
• Track Change Success Rates and Failure Rates using data tools.
• Communicate effectively with both executives and technical engineers.
• Write clear and concise Change Notices for business stakeholders.
