MISSION

• The calculation, invoicing, claim, monitoring and follow up of fees related to guarantees and counter-guarantees issued.

• The issuing of payments to Correspondent Banks. 

• The reconciliation of Nostro breaks related with payments issued or received within the scope of guarantees issued.

• The justification of accounts under his/her scope.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Managing the invoicing to clients and correspondent Banks, ensuring a high level of accuracy in terms of calculations of Guarantee fees and production of invoices.

• Ensuring invoices and accounting entries are aligned, performing accounting adjustments when necessary.

• Monitoring and follow up of fees due, ensuring that any long overdue items are referred to line Managers and/or Business contacts as necessary.

• Managing the payment of fees to Correspondent Banks.

• Responding quickly and effectively to MO /  banks / correspondents enquiries and requests for information

• Assisting with the resolution of any disputes or concerns in respect of overdue items.

• In coordination with the Drafter and/or Vetter, performing the monitoring of Guarantees as they reach their expiry dates: updating expiry dates for open-ended guarantees, closing expired transactions in the Bank mainframes and records, ensuring any outstanding fees are collected up to date and notifying clients of their release (if release before expiry date).

• Providing clear details of open items in the accounts under his/her scope. Such details will be used by the managers assigned as owners of the accounts for the periodic certification of accounts.

MISSION
 

Within the RISK Madrid Hub of CPBS (Commercial, Personal Banking & Services), you will join the RISK BCEF Model Design team. As the RISK Model Design Senior Quant, you will develop credit regulatory risk models for BCEF (PD, LGD, LGD in-default, EAD-CCF), in collaboration with the RISK BCEF Model Design teams in Paris, Bordeaux and Madrid, Business and IT teams of BCEF, and Group Risk teams (LoD1 and LoD2).

You will be working on various current credit risk and regulatory issues at the heart of banking within the largest entity of CPBS. You will gain a strong understanding of credit risk modelling. In general, you will develop expertise in credit risk management, banking regulation (CRR3, EBA Guidelines – LOM, NPE-FBE, etc.), and the data challenges within BCEF and RISK BCEF.

As a Risk Modeling specialist, you will develop new models or maintain existing ones to assess risk parameters for Retail and Corporate credit, with a first focus on new CCF models:

·       You will coordinate contributions from RISK BCEF and BCEF on these projects.

·       You will write documentation for these initiatives.

·       You will actively participate in internal audits and supervisory reviews.

·       You will analyze the results of backtesting exercises.

·       You will engage in discussions with RISK CPBS and RISK Models & Regulatory teams.

About the team :

RISK is a global function within the BNP Paribas Group, with risk experts distributed across five continents. Its mission is to ensure the management of the Bank’s risks for General Management, in compliance with its policies, desired market ratings, and profitability objectives. Position Overview 

  • Enhance the International Financial Sanctions risk framework as well as monitoring financial security compliance risks:
  • Analyze the impact of Sanctions framework evolutions, specify the developments required to ensure their implementation (tools or training), contribute to their operational adaptation and implementation across the business areas (recommend adjustments in terms of organization, conduct and practices whenever appropriate) and follow-up through action plan

RESPONSABILIDADES

Gestionar e impulsar los procesos de contratación en las diferentes líneas del Grupo BNP Paribas en España: Publicación de vacantes, evaluación de curricula, realización de entrevistas de selección, negociación de condiciones e incorporación de candidatos.

Brindar asesoramiento a los managers de las diferentes líneas de negocio para dar forma a sus necesidades en la selección de candidatos.

Analizar las diferentes candidaturas, conociendo en profundidad, su historial profesional y su adecuación específica al puesto.

Registrar y mantener un seguimiento y estado precisos de los registros de candidatos en el Sistema de Seguimiento del Grupo (Avature).

Impulsar la Movilidad Interna de los empleados de BNP Paribas a través de un enfoque proactivo.

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

The Financial Statements analyst deploys operationally the regulation and normative instructions on his/her operational scope.

Based on the data delivered by the Finance SMS, he/she produces the reporting, specific analysis and ad-hoc requests.

He/she ensures quarterly production of his/her scope of entities reporting for BNPP’s financial statements consolidation, and answer to ad hoc requests from Group and external Auditors or other stakeholders supervised by his/her TL. He/she ensures on time and accurate different pack of financial and regulatory reporting related to his/her stream.

He/she participates to actions plans to solve data quality issues. He/she participates into new projects inquiries (regulatory and other).

ACTIVITIES

Performs reconciliations to ensure consistency of data with accounting source.

Performs overall controls and analytical review, as any other relevant analysis.

Contributes to projects by providing expertise on reporting issues.

Finance control & Data quality missions are embedded in the role:

  • Review controls and document how they are performed.
  • Delivers synthesis, raise alerts and action plans.
  • Is accountable for the entity quality of financial data used.
  • Oversights of the quality of the static data received from Referential officers (counterparties, securities, …)
  • Makes sure the information we have all the information to complete the reporting chain.
  • Ensures data reliability and consistency in the reporting.
