ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

We are looking to hire a junior for back office with no experience to join our Madrid team. As a junior back office, you will report to the manager and assist with various administrative tasks. This includes data management, processing client instructions, handling payments, knowledge of the Spanish market to help clients to manage risk and avoid potential incidents.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support and deliver operational processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of securities. Ensure trade transactions are booked correctly in systems for clean downstream settlement.

–       Ensure customer care and business throughout the day

–       Ensure proper monitoring of Service Level Descriptions and specificities agreed with clients

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Studies

 

        –   Degree in related field of study (business admin. or similar)

– –    Master on Finance or business school or equivalent will be a plus

 

  • Experience

 

–       Experience in finance or related positions is not required, but it will be valuable.

 

  • Languages

–       English (minimum of level of C1, but C2 is a plus). French is also a plus

  • Mandatory: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Mandatory: High standard of English (C1 level).
  • Preferred: HashiCorp Certifications (Terraform Associate or Professional).

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure the efficient administration of both Traditional and Private Equity Investment Funds. Our team delivers finance, tax, regulatory and risk reporting for Corporate & Institutional Banking, BP2S and Personal Finance.

MISSION
As a Financial Accountant you will ensure accurate end‑to‑end expense booking and reporting for EMEA entities. You will maintain general ledgers, guarantee data quality for all reporting streams, and contribute to a solid control framework that underpins the Group’s financial integrity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead monthly closing activities, from bookkeeping to final reporting.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, including inter‑entity transfers and overheads.
  • Perform IFRS 16 calculations, depreciation, amortisation and tax classifications.
  • Convert accounting data into management accounting insights following MARP rules.
  • Support auditors and internal stakeholders with timely, high‑quality information.
  • Participate in system upgrades and process‑improvement projects to boost efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • University degree or Master’s in Accounting/Finance.
  • 3‑4 years of finance experience in multinational settings, preferably with audit or consultancy exposure.
  • Advanced English; French or other European languages a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF); familiarity with SAP/Oracle, Business Objects and IFRS is desirable.
  • Self‑starter attitude, excellent communication, and ability to thrive in a matrix environment.

FRS – Connect – BOOST IDEA Fronting Team, located in Madrid, Paris, Mumbai and Lisbon, acts as accelerator and facilitator of the relations between FRS Community and Finance/Risk Teams. 

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

The main objectives of BOOST Fronting team are:

  • Secure the proper uses of FRESH Tools by Finance/Risk
  • Facilitate the understanding of end-to-end operational processes
  • Capture/detect needs within operational activities
  • Build and lead time-to-market action plans combining the use of FRS Target solutions and “Fast” / “Smart” solutions managed by BOOST Centers of Expertise (CoE).
  • Provide temporary Agile and IT Stamped solutions
  • Encourage the capture of uses cases conducive to innovation

Your mission will be to contribute in a project team dedicated to implement processes improvements as part of the digital transformation of Finance and Risk. Activities spanning from project management, process optimization, finance concepts learning, problem solving, contribution to process reengineering and action plan definition.
The project team is a decisive player in the design of the application road map, ensuring the adequacy between tactical and target architectures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of BOOST Fronting team you are in charge of:

1. Manage the interaction with Business
• Collect/Capture Business needs
• Process reengineering/optimization
• Problem solving
• Business demands backlog management / Prioritization
• Contribute to define automation/digitalization or entities harmonization strategy
• Provide regular reporting of the achievements/improvements planned and implemented to the respective finance management team

2. Manage Projects on its functional perimeter
• Interact internationally with the other BOOST Fronting team members
• Coordinate the resources provided by BOOST CoE and assigned to the project
• Contribute to budget demand and Follow up
• Ensure ITG project Launching

3. Manage the interaction with the FRS Community
• On a regular basis, share the needs collected with potential other FRS teams concerned
• Act as a bridge to connect business teams with the appropriate other FRS teams if, after high-level assessment, the need is to be handled by them

4. Foster knowledge sharing, best practices on FRS suite solutions, promote FRESH Service Offer and positive team spirit

REQUIREMENTS

Training:

  •  Business School, Engineer or Master in Information Technology

Experience:

  •  +5 years of overall professional experience in portfolio management on finance sector
  •  +5 years of overall professional experience in project management on any sector
  • Proficiency level of English speaking is mandatory, French very much appreciated
  • Finance domain, BNPP business lines and organizational knowledge appreciated
  • Experience of working in an international environment would be a plus
  • Experience applying agile methodology and mindset
  • Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player and result oriented
  • Experienced in and appreciate working in multicultural environments
