ABOUT THE JOB 

The Trade Finance Service Centre, with more than 100 HC, is a large critical area within Operations covering Traditional Trade products (bank guarantees and documentary products) and servicing the main European countries: Austria, Germany, Netherland, Spain and UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the issuing of international guarantees, direct/indirect with due regard to legal, compliance and risk aspects.

MISIÓN

RESPONSABILIDADES

MISSION

As a Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the precision and integrity of our guarantee-related financial processes. You will manage fee calculations, invoicing, and payment monitoring to ensure seamless operational continuity within our guarantees scope.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage invoicing and fees: Calculate, invoice, and monitor fees related to issued guarantees and counter-guarantees with high accuracy.
  • Handle payments: Execute payments to Correspondent Banks and manage the reconciliation of Nostro breaks.
  • Monitor guarantee lifecycles: Track expiry dates, update records in mainframes, and ensure all outstanding fees are collected before closing transactions.

Description of the Team

The position is within BNP Paribas CIB – Real Estate Capital Markets EMEA, based in Madrid.

Real Estate Capital Markets (RECM) EMEA team main assignments are the following:

  • Coverage of main European REITs, Real Estate Private Equity funds and Real Estate Asset Managers;
  • Structuring and managing Specialised Real Estate financings mainly for Private Equity sponsors and Asset Managers.

The team is spread across 7 different European hubs (Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Lisbon).

The proposed position is within the Credit & Portfolio Management (CPM) team, whose role is to ensure all front-office tasks on deals post-closing (client relationship follow-up, risks follow-up, amendments, waivers, restructurings, refinancings…).

Key Responsibilities of the role

As part of the EMEA Real Estate Capital Markets CPM team, based in Madrid, the selected candidate will participate to efficiently manage the European RECM portfolio, to contribute to the overall results of the group in terms of client follow-up, risk management and RWA monitoring. He/she will work in close cooperation and under the supervision of Seniors of the team, reporting to the local RECM CPM manager.

Main function of the role is the due management & proactive monitoring of portfolio of allocated clients and transactions to CPM (post-closing) during construction and/or operation periods, including without limitation:

1. Depending on the case, and in close collaboration with the Seniors of the team, ensure:

  • Annual reviews are performed on time, waiver / amendment requests are duly handled, covenants are met as requested by documentation, and generally internal processes post closing are met
  • Organize the control and follow-up of drawings under development financing agreements within agreed facility limits and conditions.
  • Obtain timely information to allow full analysis on the portfolio and report relevant findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Relevant duties are performed, incl KYC timely renewal
  • Deal financial models are maintained as needed
  • Liaison with Middle office and Booking Center, as well as with Agency when relevant 
  • Ensure data quality regular checks and ensure the timely provision of all information required for Regulatory reporting

2. Ensure fluent and effective information exchange between the Relationship Managers on credit facilities, to efficiently manage credit files allocated to CPM.

3. Liaise with Risk Corporate with regards to the risk profiles of clients and risk monitoring tools as well as presenting to credit committees

4. Ensure timely preparation of quarterly Watch List and Doubtful status

5. Provide support to the Seniors in the execution of refinancings and restructurings / complex files.

Experience, Qualifications & Competencies

1. Previous experience in a similar area, preferably in the structured finance sector 

2. Expertise:

  • Have a sound understanding of the Bank’s credit approval process
  • High level of analytical skills, ability to construct a broad point of view and market convictions

3. IT literacy in Microsoft Office and the Bank’s systems for risk and portfolio monitoring

4. Based on portfolio analysis and available related information, provide as relevant feedback to other RECM teams on sectorial, technical, regulatory, market, developments, etc

5. Language: Fluent in English (mandatory) & Italian (preferred). Spanish proficiency is a plus.

6. People / Behavioural conduct:

  • Desarrollar habilidades para traducir datos complejos en informes compresibles para audiencias técnicas y no técnicas. Estos informes se deberán diseñar, automatizar y publicar utilizando Power BI y/o Tableau. 
  • Colaborar con otras áreas y equipos interdisciplinarios (analistas de negocio, científico de datos…) en el desarrollo de productos analíticos basados en datos. 
  • En base a la experiencia desarrollada, proponer mejoras en la calidad y gobierno del dato establecidos por el Data Office 
  • Mantenerse al tanto de las tendencias y mejores prácticas en el diseño e implementación de las diferentes tecnologías aplicadas al manejo y desarrollo de proyectos basados en datos.

Gestionar, contabilizar y conciliar, todos los eventos contables relacionados con el dpto. de Gastos Generales conforme a las normas de Banco de España, fiscales e internas, Reglas de Seguridad, Plan Contable, Normas internas Contabilidad y Finanzas, Normativa fiscal, con el fin de dar información correcta, actualizado y de Calidad para dar una imagen fiel de las empresas del grupo.

RESPONSABILIDADES

·      Realizar la contabilización facturas proveedores y notas de gasto. Gestión y control del sistema de facturas (TIS)

·      Realizar el control y contabilización de nóminas, anticipos empleados, Flex…

·      Gestionar y controlar pagos de proveedores y notas de gastos: verificar documentación, contabilización y conciliación de cuentas relacionadas.

·      Controlar las variaciones del inventario del inmovilizado: Gestionar el activo fijo de las empresas del grupo.

·      Llevar a cabo los controles del área requeridos por Control Interno

·      Realizar la conciliación de las cuentas contables transitorias relacionadas con el área de Gastos Generales.

·      Gestionar y controlar el archivo de documentos electrónico y envío de la documentación para su archivo definitivo.

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION
 
 The Cybersecurity Analyst serves as the senior technical guardian of the Production environment, tasked with detecting, analysing and responding to cyber‑threats, whitelisting legitimate indicators, blocking malicious IOCs, and validating threat‑analysis rules in both EDR and SIEM platforms to ensure they function as intended and are fully integrated into the detection framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Monitor security events in the SIEM, perform triage, and classify alerts based on severity.
  • Block malicious IOCs and unblock legitimate indicators as required.
  • Review and fine‑tune use‑cases (UC) to maintain optimal detection accuracy.
  • Design, develop, and deploy new detection across EDR OR SIEM platforms.
  • Conduct Purple‑Team review activities to identify gaps and design new detection rules.

 
 
 REQUIREMENTS
 
  Studies

  • Preferred: Master’s degree or recognised professional certifications such as GREM, GCIH, OSCP Etc.

Experience

  • 5-10 years

Languages

  • Spanish: native or fluent (written and spoken).
  • English: business‑level fluency – required for global collaboration and reporting.
  • French: a plus but not mandatory.ç

  Technical

  • SIEM: Deep knowledge of log collection, correlation, advanced query writing, and dashboard development (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK).
  • EDR: Design, deployment and fine‑tuning of endpoint detection rules; conduct incident investigations with tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne or Carbon Black
  • Alert management: Full‑life‑cycle handling of security alerts—including triage, prioritisation, escalation and detailed analysis.
     
     
  • DFIR: Solid understanding of cyber‑attack TTPs (Techniques, Tactics and Procedures)
